It’s been 2 months since the last video update, and that is because we’ve been so darn busy!

In this video I hit the highlights from the last few months as we work on Build 14 and finishing off this game.

An indie dev contacted me asking specifics on how we decorate our 3D dungeon rooms. In this article I share this knowledge with you, for reasons that will soon become clear…

Some more fixes this week to stabilize the build.

Fixed two issues this week.

Added the Battlemaster for better combat encounters, fixed various bugs.

In only 4 months we completely rewrote combat. We chocked it full of all kinds of goodies: new systems, combat items, and 50+ new spells!

We just pushed up the latest round of improvements to combat. All major issues are resolved. This represents as balanced as it is going to be at this stage of development.

Now you can try what we’ve been busily working on for so many months.

This work in progress has 5 combat scenarios, each engaging enough to show the tactical depth we will bring to the finished game. See the full details on how to download the testing branch.

The four of us have been working hard on Combat (Build 13) and a taste of it is coming next week!

Finishing the game design continues. Then we can decide by feature what we will: Keep, Free Update, DLC, and Cut.

Tough calls to make, but hey, if this were easy... Well if this were easy we'd be done already!
